New Craft Office Space

We've moved to the new place and now completely settled! moving is so stressful, hopefully this will be it for at least two years. It feels so good to have everything consolidated in one place (I can't tell you how much tape, glue, staples etc was being hidden in so many areas around the old apartment). not to mention not needing to use my husbands desk!

I have a working desk and I am thrilled! So here is the breakdown:

-All furniture and magazine files is Ikea
-Storage from Meijer, and decorative accessories HomeGoods

My dolls of the world have a display shelf

Clawdeen on her perch :-)

Doll and Craft bins

In here I keep fabrics, scraps, random furnishings, craft paper etc.

I found this great 20 gallon bin from Meijer and happy to report it holds all my dolls including room for some more. yay!

These colorful containers house all the dolls clothing and accessories and other craft items

Sewing materials etc.
Everything is so organized I'm afraid to touch it, truthfully I haven't had the time. I'm confident I can maintain it because everything has a visible place, nothing is hidden or out of sight.

  1. Congratulations on your move! Everything looks so neat and organized. It must feel great to have everything in it's place.

  2. Thanks Roxanne! I just love that I know where everything is now.

  3. Wow, you look really organized. Must be nice to have a specific space for everything. Now the real fun begins!

    1. I like it. Next revamp will have more shelving I think.

  4. I was looking through your pictures again and I noticed that your countertops look just like mine as do your cabinets -- and your carpeting too. It is almost like you could be in my neighborhood! Did you move to a house or an apartment?

  5. Hi, I just discovered your blog and am jealous immediately ;-D. Wow, that looks all so great and organized, it must be a real pleasure to sit there at your desk! You must be relieved that your move is done, it's so tiring isn't it! I am organizing my doll stuff too and don't seem to get through it, I will be glad when it's finally over :-). I look forward to your future posts! Greetings from Belgium

    1. Thank you! that chair is pretty comfy. I'm just relieved to finally have my own designated space (although with a toddler nothing is ever really just yours :-)

  6. Your room looks great! My room has been a work-in-progress for years. Lol! Maybe I will make a change during the holidays when I am off work.

    P.S. I love Ikea!

  7. Well you have lot more than me so I can see how that can be intimidating :-) but you can do it! Ikea is truly the best!
